In order to develop this project, the CSIC has enjoyed the indispensable collaboration of universities represented by the team members, with which a specific agreement was signed, and other institutions with which other concrete agreements have been made.

The Instituto da Lingua Galega generously digitalized a large part of the surveys and facilitated scholarships for work on the Galician materials. These scholarships were financed with the help of the Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Ordenación Universitaria of the Xunta de Galicia.

The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid facilitated the first meeting of the team, and the Vice-Rectorate of Science Policy and Research Infrastructure awarded two collaboration scholarships for three years (between 2010 and 2013) to work on Aragonese and Castilian points.

The Linguistics Centre of the Universidade de Lisboa benefited from continuing support (from April 2010 until July 2011) of funds from the Multiyear Program of the Science and Technology Foundation, and starting August 2011, it went on to receive a Fernão Mendes Pinto do Camões scholarship from the Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua.

The Vice-Rectorate of Teaching and Scientific Policy at the Universitat de Barcelona awarded two scholarships during the years 2010-2011. In this case, it is important to note the signing of a specific agreement for the ALPI project between the CSIC, the Universitat de Barcelona, and the Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC), for which the IEC awarded three scholarships to support the development of materials corresponding to the Catalan varieties by the team working at the Universitat de Barcelona.
